ERP functionality is a fundamental building block of all e-business solutions.

The following are the service which provided in mySAP (Extended and Collaborative Business Solutions)

mySAP SRM (SRM – Supplier Relationship Management)
mySAP HR (HR – Human Resource) – E- Recruitment
mySAP SCM (SCM – Supply Chain Management) – Supply Chain Planning
mySAP Financial (FIN – Financial Accounting) – Financial Analytics
mySAP PLM (PLM – Product Lifecycle Management) – Collaborative Engineering
mySAP CRM (CRM – Customer Relationship Management) – Campaign Management
mySAP BI (BI – Business Intelligence)

However, SAP R/3 functional areas are only (ERP, Standard Internal Solutions):

mySAP HR (HR) – Personnel Administration and Payroll
mySAP SCM (SCM) – Supply Chain Execution
mySAP Financial (FIN) – Operational Financial and Cost Accounting
mySAP PLM (PLM) – Change Management and Product Structure Management
mySAP CRM (CRM) – Order Fulfillment

Some of the key SAP R/3 functional areas and examples of extended functions that are available when using a solution (such as mySAP SCM or mySAP HR).

For instance, in the area of HR, SAP R/3 covers the standard internal processes. The mySAP HR solution then offers additional collaborative functions, such as e-recruiting.

ERP not only incorporates Financial Accounting and Human Resources Management, it also contains elements from standard CRM, PLM, and SCM business processes.
